This add-on course builds on the fundamental Internet Security Basics and Phishing Awareness Training, introducing you to things specific to mobile devices and how to stay safe on the internet. Topics include:
 
What is smishing, and how to protect yourself
Security differences between mobile devices and computers
Best practices on selecting and using applications from the app store
The problem with QR codes
Additional Best practices for protecting your smartphone or tablet
 
This course is also self-paced, and is available for 120 days from the first day you start the program. There are brief quizzes after each module that will test your knowledge retention, and a final quiz to reinforce the important topics.
 
Finally, similar to the primary course, with your loved one's consent, we will send simulated text messages to them to see if they do the right thing, and inform you of the results. There may also be another type of simulated surprise test involved...shhhhh!
